Perspective

Shit you've read elsewhere, I'm sure: Jobs were actually created last month. Bush smirks. Drudge throws the number of 759,000 new jobs in seven months in a headline. This is not a bad thing. I cannot interpret the data, but it is my understanding that 140,000 jobs need to be created every month in order to keep up with the number of people entering the workforce. Ergo, 980,000 people entered the workforce in the last seven months. At least 221,000 of them don't have jobs. Sorry to spoil the party.
